Get to know me
Hey there, my name is Dorian Grasset. I'm a Software Engineer student at Polytech Montpellier, France, focused on the intersection of software engineering and operations. I build efficient, reliable, and automated digital solutions — CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling.
I'm currently completing my degree through an apprenticeship at Teads, a global advertising technology company, working as a Software Engineer on production systems. This role gave me hands-on experience with large-scale containerization workflows, distroless Docker images, and CI/CD pipelines — topics I also write about on my blog.
Outside of work I invest time in open source. I've contributed to uptime-kuma — including a Canvas rendering optimization that replaced 12,000+ DOM elements and cut render time by 71% — as well as shadcn/ui and ferriskey. I also maintain my own tools: Kubemgr, a Rust CLI for merging Kubernetes configurations, and Dealve, a Rust TUI for discovering gaming deals across storefronts.
I thrive when collaborating with talented people and tackling problems where technical precision meets design thinking — whether that's a monitoring dashboard, an automation workflow, or a well-crafted CLI. If any of this resonates, I'd love to connect.
